Doula
Sometimes called childbirth attendants, Doulas provide emotional, physical, and educational support to expecting families or those who have recently given birth. They can stay with the parents throughout labor and may perform home visits after the baby is born. Doulas offer encouragement, advice, and comfort to families with newborns.
